Meeting called to order by Mayor
Harley at 7:00pm
Invocation given by City
Administrator Eidson.
Pledge of Allegiance led by
Councilman Wright.
Welcome Extended to all by Mayor
Harley recognizing Commissioner Walker.
Present were Mayor John R. Harley,
Councilman Cameron Andrews, Councilman Randall Wright, Councilman Robert Smith, and City Administrator Patrick
Eidson. Absent City Attorney Rebecca Tydings (out on medical leave)
and Councilman Edward Tucker (Active duty National Guard).
Motion to add item under new
business: Proclamation Armed Forces Councilman Wright; seconded by
Councilman Andrews. Motion carried.
Adoption of
Minutes:
Blanket motion made by Councilman Wright to adopt minutes as written; seconded by Councilman
Andrews. Motion carried.

Proclamation Armed Forces Triple
Ribbon Day: Motion to adopt Proclamation by Councilman Wright;
seconded by Councilman Andrews. Motion
carried.

Contract-Fire Department: City Administrator Eidson recognized Fire Chief Jones. Chief Jones stated historically the Fire Department fundraiser monies are used
to purchase equipment. The Fire Department will receive
15% of money, after covered expensed for the photographer. There
are (2) agreements to discuss tonight. City Administrator Eidson
reported to Mayor and Council that the contract had been reviewed by City Attorney Tydings. City Administrator Eidson made recommendation to move forward and proceed with
execution of contract. Chief Jones stated that once all sponsors
have received donations, company will provide itemization of cost and the Fire Department will get 15% of bottom
line figure. Councilman Andrews stated he is aware of company
and has worked on different task in the past. Motion made by
Councilman Andrews; seconded by Councilman Smith. Motion
carried.
FIRST (Fire Rescue Support
Team) Contract-Fire Department: City Administrator Eidson recognized Fire Chief Jones. Chief Jones reported the Fire Department will receive 55% of the
donation. The Fire Department will receive 100% of any donation
over $40.00.
Motion to approve by Councilman
Wright; seconded by Councilman Smith. Motion
carried.
City Participation March of
Dimes March for Babies: City Administrator Eidson recognized Municipal Court Clerk
Bowden. Mrs. Bowden stated that she had been approached back in
August seeking support to form a March of Dimes team. Over the 4
weeks City Hall/ Fire Department/ Centerville Elementary School raised over $600.00. There were 7 people from
the city that walked for the March Dimes fund raiser.
Mayor Harley thanked everyone for their
participation.
